π Section 1 β Your Location Is Private
Many trading apps show your exact GPS position to other users β which is dangerous. Bayni works differently. Here is exactly what happens when you post a listing or browse near you.

π What We Store Behind the Scenes
Your exact GPS coordinates are stored securely in our database β but they are never sent to other users' phones or apps. They are used only to calculate distances and match you with nearby listings.

Bayni does not store passwords. There is no password database that could be leaked or stolen. Your account access is protected entirely through Google, Apple, or a one-time email code.

Zero Tolerance Policy: Bayni has zero tolerance for objectionable content, prohibited items, or abusive behavior. Any content found to violate our community standards is removed immediately, and the account is suspended.
β Section 4 β The Suki Score: A Trust System That Cannot Be Faked
Every seller on Bayni has a Suki Score β a trust rating that grows slowly and honestly over many real transactions. Unlike simple star ratings that can be inflated by one or two reviews, the Suki Score is designed to reflect genuine, long-term trustworthiness.

Tip: When buying, check the seller's Suki Score before meeting. A score of 50 (Suki) or above means the seller has a consistent track record. Always meet in a safe, public place.
π« Section 5 β Reporting and Blocking
You are never alone on Bayni. If something feels wrong β a suspicious message, a scam listing, or rude behavior β you have immediate tools to protect yourself.
Report a Listing
Tap the flag icon on any listing to report it. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours
Block a User
From any chat or profile, tap the menu and select "Block". They cannot contact you again
Report Abusive Chat
Long-press any message in a chat to report it for harassment or scam behavior
Hide a Seller
Don't want to see someone's listings? Block them and their listings disappear from your feed

β Section 7 β Common Questions
Q: Can other users see where I live?
No. Other users only see your general area β for example, "Makati City" or "Quezon City." Your home address and exact GPS location are never shared with anyone on the app.
Q: Is my Bayni account safe if my phone is stolen?
Yes. Bayni uses secure sessions that are tied to your device and login. If your phone is stolen, you can log in on another device β your old session becomes invalid. We recommend also contacting Google or Apple to secure your account.
Q: Can a seller fake a high Suki Score?
It is extremely difficult. The Suki Score is designed so that a single review barely moves the score. It takes dozens of real, verified transactions over time to reach a high score. Our system also monitors for unusual review patterns and can investigate suspicious activity.
Q: What happens if I report someone?
Your report goes to our moderation process immediately. For content violations, we review within 24 hours. For serious threats or illegal activity, we escalate immediately. The reported user is not informed who filed the report β your identity is protected.
Q: Does Bayni sell my data to advertisers?
No. Bayni does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertising networks or third-party data brokers. Your data is used only to operate the app and improve your experience.
Q: How do I delete my account and data?
You can request account deletion from your Profile settings. All your personal data β listings, messages, and account information β is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
